I was born and raised in Bahia, Brazil, where I learned that beauty is deeply connected to confidence, self-care, and well-being. One of my earliest memories is watching my mother apply vegetable oils to her skin every day. While I admired her dedication, I often wondered if there could be a better, more sophisticated solution that delivered the same nourishment without the heaviness and inconvenience of traditional oils.

At 2017, I moved to the United States with a vision for a better future. I studied Nursing Technician and expanding my expertise through advanced education in aesthetics, skincare, including specialized training through Harvard. 

Throughout my career, I recognized a gap in the market. Many body creams provide temporary hydration but do little to improve skin texture, elasticity, and overall skin quality. Inspired by my mother's skincare rituals and supported by my professional education, I set out to create something better, a body cream that combines the richness of Brazilian beauty traditions with modern skincare science. Now called Baiana.
