I was born and raised in Bahia, Brazil, where I learned that true beauty is deeply connected to confidence, self-care and well-being. One of my earliest memories is watching my mother nourish her skin each day with natural vegetable oils. While I admired her dedication, I often wondered if there could be a more elegant way to achieve the same deep nourishment without the heaviness and inconvenience of traditional oils.

In 2017, I moved to the United States with a vision of creating a better future. I pursued my education as a Nursing Technician while expanding my knowledge through advanced training in aesthetics and skincare, including specialized coursework through Harvard. My education, combined with years of hands-on experience, deepened my understanding of skin health and the science behind effective skincare.

Throughout my career, I noticed a gap in the market. Many body creams offered temporary hydration but failed to improve skin texture, elasticity, and long-term skin health. Inspired by my mother's timeless skincare rituals and guided by modern scientific research, I set out to create something different.

The result is Baiana—a body cream that combines the nourishing traditions of Brazilian beauty with advanced skincare science. Every formula is thoughtfully designed to deeply hydrate, improve skin quality, and help women feel confident in their own skin every day.
